Inspired by the video of Wonderful I shared yesterday, here are some additional videos of stallions from various State Studs for your inspiration.

All of these videos are excellent visuals, demonstrating forward moving horses, and using outdoor schooling.

Falkenstern II

1994 Quadrille Stallion at Celle State Stud.

1999 Hanoverian Stallion. Look at the walk, it's always good to see a performance horse whose walk has not become lateralized. Add that to your memory bank.

Wie Weltmeyer

1984 Hanoverian Stallion

How do the forward energy of these horses compare to your own? Notice that forward does not equal rushed.

  1. Great Blog! I don’t own a nose band and ride all in a double bridle. Some of my horses salivate more than others always its green and not white as they live out in fields even in the winter…but none of them drip though….its more like lipstick!
